@Gerrywell No need to butt out. I realize that in this discussion I'm out numbered, but everyone here has been civil, and gracious enough to let me introduce a differing point of view. I can only speak for myself, but my point of view is rarely explained or represented. Trumps business is real estate essentially, much different than tobacco, or oil which is constantly under the microscope by the Fda, Epa etc. challenging the very legality of these businesses. These are the types of interest lobbyist essentially buy members of both parties to protect. Trump could easily walk away from these whole thing without worrying about the legality of commercial real estate. Apples and oranges in my opinion. Trumps a different breed of semi creepy rich guy.
As for health care, it isn't given to us. At my income bracket I am required to have insurance, or face stiff penalties (loss of deductions, fines, etc.) for non compliance.
People who can't afford insurance, were enlisted under the Obama Plan. The plan forces private insurance companies to cover these people. The private companies then pass that cost on to us. I pay roughly 1200-1500 more now yearly, with such a high deductible, my insurance has yet to kick in to pay anything. That's been my experience.
Now, thirdly. I don't hate President Obama. I just don't agree with his policies. That's always been our right as citizens. That's why we have these silly elections. President Obama, as a person is far more like able to me than Trump or Hillary. Disagreement and hate are to very different things, regardless of those who'd rather label us may think. Thanks everyone, enjoy your Sunday.
