In one speech, he said the country - facing a change of guard - was 5 days away from being fundamentally changed. His meaning was very clear: economic policies that favored more people, debt relief, a shift in the American Cconsciousness that helped progress the country toward a brighter future. He said it in the very same speech.

He also said later that such a fundamental shift was not necessary if the proper work was put in. Forest for the trees.
