@Fluffy407 The law is the law as duly enacted by a duly elected government. If we choose simply ignore every law we think is 'unjust' society will simply collapse since we can all excuse our actions one way or another.

however, the word Criminal has a negative connotation. and so calling someone a criminal for disobeying an unjust law creates a negative impression in the minds of the uninformed of who that person is.
