But for an opinion in the ring, I don't think he'll receive it, even if this summit results in lasting peace. Every other department of his life is not in order; hard to find anyone who'll stand behind him right now as an exemplary figurehead of peace.

There haven’t been many politicians who have been shining examples of personhood. This president is a wild card for sure. Perhaps that very fact will lead to some favorable results which are what we really need. Jimmy Carter seemed nice enough but was ineffectual. @Graylight
