I'm curious. How many dislike guns because they were not raised around them?

I don’t dislike them but certainly uncomfortable around anything that can kill a person until I learn how to use it safely. like cutting things in the kitchen with a big sharp knife or driving a car

@Mrsbetweenfatandfit I was raised around them so they don't bother me at all. My first rifle was a 22 my dad bought me when I was 10

@Mrsbetweenfatandfit i have several friends that over the years I have taken to the range and let them shoot and their dislike and fear lessened

@Somebunny21 i feel like the fear comes in from people getting them that shouldn’t. Or the thought that certain guns have the ability to shoot many times in a short period. In the wrong hands very damaging.
