"European colonisers brought diseases to the Americas which contributed to the Native American genocide!"

But point out that immigration to Europe brings diseases and you're a racist.

I don't get it. I have a lot of friends in the healthcare sector, and it seems people are pretty open and sane about immigrants and even foreign travelers bringing diseases and parasites into the state. Even Americans travelling abroad provide risks. It's hardly a racist thing.

@CopperCicada I agree. But look at some of the responses I've had on here, in particular from atalanta. According to her you're already a bigot for agreeing with common sense.
@pianoplayingsteve I guess I don't agree with any of the claims of racism or the claims that we ignore this risk.

FFS I had some digestive problems some years back. After going through the normal things, the next tier was where I had traveled, what groups of people I had been in contact with, and so on.

@CopperCicada Same, here. These people are children, they will briefly come in and shout at people calling them "racist" etc to FEEL they are doing something good, but then it's up to the adults to do the actual thinking and work. Problem is, each generation of these children each contribute to a small part of our civil liberties been taken away to satiate their temporary narcissism, but these attacks add up.
