I think FDR was probably our greatest president as he figured out a way to bring the country out of depression. He was a good leader and speaker...but that whole japanese camp thing is probably the worst out of his presidency

@hippyjoe1955 i doubt it was a disaster, as it brought a country out of depression...the policies wont work today of course..and if he was such a bad president..why did he get elected 4 times?? Not to mention his admin ended prohibition

@JarJarBoom Actually it extended the depression by years. There had been worse stock crashes previous and they never resulted in a depression like the one FDR led.

@hippyjoe1955 i really dont rhink it extended the depression for years because if that was the case, dont you think those programs wouldnt exist today? You also have to keep in mind that his admin also created the fdic which gave people confidence again to use the banking system..still aroumd today
