President SH will be kept around as long as Mueller needs him to be there. If Trump is impeached right now, all bets are off with Mueller's investigation. Anything he has on Trump will be lost to the wind if Trump gets impeached, which is why it is extremely important for Trump to remain in place until Mueller can nail him.
