I'm just going to say this. The cost of globalism is that one can't step out of it without a serious economic recession.

@jackjjackson That's actually not what motivates my comment. A few % dip in the DJIA is not a serious economic recession.
Implicit in globalism is divesting one's manufacturing capacity. That has a huge economic opportunity. It also has a huge geopolitical risk.

Our “trading partner” by taking advantage of us for years seem to have survived “huge risks” up to this point anyway. I respectfully suggest that their risks have become huger. @CopperCicada
