The trade war the President allegedly started will be good for the US

Actually the President is simply correctl the past mistakes of others. The days of giving away the farm are over!

Has no choice does he ?
China;Turkey;Brazil;South Korea;India all produce steel at similar or cheaper price.
Most closer to Europe than America so shipping cheaper.
Most producing their own cars/trains/ships/etc.
Where does he envisage this 'Trade war' ?

I don't know. I just think he'd be better served if he just got out there and met folk rather than do the whole.....'We're being strong ! and by implication....Winning ! thing.

You guys are trying to lower your imports (as is everybody) because it cuts costs.
But who is he envisioning is 'threatening' U.S. production ?
