Criminals and mentally imbalanced shouldn't have them and immature people and those who are not willing to get proper training.

Maturity and training seem pretty subjective. Who makes these rules? The states or the federal government? @cherokeepatti

@jackjjackson states, Oklahoma has concealed carry laws here, have to have training, pass test, a background screening, etc. to get the permit. Teachers can have them at school if they have a concealed carry permit and inform the administration/police.

Here in PA no test no training. Personal references required that’s it. I don’t think teachers are allowed in schools. I’m far from sure on that one. I see many problems. The cowering police in FL should each received 17 consecutive life prison sentences. @cherokeepatti

@jackjjackson I am wondering if the whole truth is being told by those deputies, they might have been told it was drill and to stay out, and maybe they've had their families threatened. I don't know but the whole mess stinks and doesn't add up. That David Hogg was involved with a group that Podesto founded, the son of an FBI agent, he graduated in 2015 and wasn't going to that school, he was in a closet "hiding" said it was 9:30 (the same time as the morning drill), he has forgotten some of his lines in his script and messed up, etc. Just what I saw of him speaking it sounded rehearsed and not natural.That is just one kid....there are other things too.

He was in the school but had already graduated? @cherokeepatti
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@jackjjackson It was on social media that he forgot to get rid of before the shooting.
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@jackjjackson he didn't go to that school, the whole story the media is telling sucks
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
How is his photo in the yearbook? @cherokeepatti
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@jackjjackson I have no idea

@cherokeepatti Define criminals. In my state a misdemeanor conviction does not mean you lose your right to possess a firearm. A felony conviction does. Should someone convicted of a retail theft or disorderly conduct be permanently barred from exercising their rights under the constitution? Not trying to flame. Just trying to gauge where the line should be.
