I think left leaning politicians hate Trump because:

He is actually doing something to put money in people’s pockets. He’s opening up tons of opportunities for small business growth which means more and more people can be independent.

Democrats rely on people thinking they need to depend on the government.

So they attack anything they can about the guy.. no matter how trivial or petty or hypocritical it makes them...

Just sayin

You are just repeating Republican Propaganda, he's making Corporations bigger not small business. How will small business ever be able to compete with corporations like Walmart that completely wipe out a small towns family owned businesses. How can small business compete with a Corporation that pays little to no taxes at all?

My small business competes just fine

I suppose that means you make more and your employees make less. How much profit would you sell your country for? @GardenSage
GardenSage · 36-40, M
@rhouse I just work by myself... sometimes I hire a friend part time
rhouse · 56-60, M
Oh I see you mow the neighbor's lawn. We all start somewhere. @GardenSage
GardenSage · 36-40, M
@rhouse lol first you’re trying to insult me for being some elitist buisness owner and now you insult my humility...

Classic liberal
GardenSage · 36-40, M
I liked your comment because it’s so hilariously perfect in its hypocrisy
rhouse · 56-60, M
OK. I am interested in your logic.

This is the moment in Time when the wealthy open up their pockets... it’s a staple part of trickle down economics. They start spending on their own frivolous lifestyles. Any business meant to cater to that will grow. Food trucks, restaurants, landscaping, interior decorations, realty, insurance, car sales,... most sales jobs are contractual work meaning you represent yourself as well as the company that helps to keep you employed. Many of these are easily managed by 1-5 people.

It’s a period of time where (like the 80s) if you make smart decisions, anyone can get wealthy.

The opportunities are there. Trust me. @rhouse
@GardenSage What about the part of Trickle down where the country goes into a recession, like every other time the Republicans gave the Rich more money and power. What about the fact that the economy was already doing well so this is just more money for the rich with not many jobs being created.
rhouse · 56-60, M
You really need to research "trickle down economics". There doesn't appear to be any truth that it works as well as bubble up economics. The main reason is because people who have more money than they spend don't spend any more just because they have more. There comes a point where you have so much money that you won't spend more no matter what. Most of those people who won't spend more are the ones in the top 1%. Unfortunately the recent tax cuts give them the most benefit.

You will argue this but history and economics aren't on your side. @GardenSage
GardenSage · 36-40, M
@Pitchblue it wasn’t doing that well. Idk those parts all seem like you just made them up
GardenSage · 36-40, M
@rhouse actually they are... bubble up economics has never been successful ever.
rhouse · 56-60, M
You disagree with almost every economist. @GardenSage
@GardenSage Reagan tripled the debt doing exactly what Trump is doing right now.
GardenSage · 36-40, M
@rhouse anyway... this isn’t a lecture on economics- it’s my first hand account of my own business

Take it at face value. I don’t plan on investing much into this country’s future anyway

Take my advice and stack your cash while you can
rhouse · 56-60, M
You can learn a lot from history. @GardenSage
GardenSage · 36-40, M
@rhouse lord, enough with the feeble backhanded insults. Sheesh 🙄
rhouse · 56-60, M
So you just said your business "competes just fine" and implied that it is because of Trump economics and said that you have no plans to "invest much into this country's future anyway." I think that does two points: 1) proves that it didn't spur spending and 2) you are unpatriotic. @GardenSage
rhouse · 56-60, M
It wasn't an insult. I truly do mean that anyone can benefit from studying history. Here is the insult...you appear to need it more than most. @GardenSage
GardenSage · 36-40, M
You can read into it however you want. It really doesn’t affect me... it only shows me that you’re looking desperately for a way to berate me over it which shows ME how truly worthless this conversation is.... I’ve given you my account as I see it.

It’s up to you to make heads or tails.

Don’t bother me with your feeble insults. Please. There’s a mosquito in my house and I don’t need another unnecessary nuisance
rhouse · 56-60, M
No you need education. @GardenSage
GardenSage · 36-40, M
@rhouse “education” is relative. If you don’t know that, you’re lost.

@Pitchblue Bless your little heart, you just can't help demonstrating your incredible stupidity can you.
@katielass You don't ever have a real comment or answer just this drivel.
