GUN LAWS... A "How To" guide to fixing this

Enough already! Here is how to get sensible gun laws.
Step 1. Get a list of those politicians who accept donations from the NRA directly of through PACS. The lists are on line.

Step 2. Decide that you will not support one who takes a donation next time and more importantly WILL support one who DOESNT.

Step 3. Email them and TELL THEM that you are watching and how your vote will go and tell your friends to do the same.

Step 4. Keep the pressure on. All that is required for bad things to happen is for good people to do nothing. Donald Trump is not going to make America Great again.. But ordinary people can do extraordinary things if they actually try.

The problem is only about 12000 are actually murdered on average by gunns. Compared to other ways we die, it's just not that big of a number. 3.4 per 100,000 .. your odds of winning the Lottery are better than your odds of getting killed by a firearm.
I personally accept it as the cost for our live fast no care self absorbed society..

Time to go and buy myself some lottery tickets. Wish me luck!

But seriously, you're right. Also, I have yet to see a gun jump up and shoot someone on its own. I wish people would take a closer look at the people committing murder, at their mental state and their personal history, instead of focusing on their weapon of choice. Did they have a bad reaction to some psychotropic drugs that they were on? Were there any warning signs that they might be contemplating murder?

But apparently most people can't be bothered to look into those things. Like you said, we've become a self-absorbed society. It's sad.

@whowasthatmaskedman I also agree with you.. if people want real change, they have to look past party lines and vote the ones that resist change.. unfortunately more important issues tend to determine who get in..
