I think America would be a safer place if it issued Remington 870’s to its (mentally healthy and non-criminal) adult citizens.
Ban all semi-automatic guns (long and handgun) including local law enforcement. Make all those who own one now register it. Any sale or transfer to a non-family member is treason. (It can be sold back to the us government for a reasonable price) Any illegal possession is treason.
The 2nd amendment critics can’t come at us because we are arming out people.
Yes... there are more guns but it’s different.

No. I'm making it better.
Fewer handguns. People trained on firearms (reducing the ignorant souls who have never touched one and still comment on such things). A reduction of semi-automatic weapons.
