What do you consider the greatest threats to America?

for me:

-White supremacists
-Republican Party
-Russian Government
-The 130 staffers in the White House without security clearance
-Trump’s Twitter account
-Trump’s entire administration
-Trump’s family
-Paul Ryan, Devin Nunes, McConnell, Lindsey Graham and Donald Trump

What about you?

Greatest threat to America? It’s the lack of respect for life in the youth these days. You can blame the NRA all you want, but it boils down to the fact that kids/people have the desire to murder others. There is a breakdown somewhere with these kids, it’s either parenting or lack there of, or an over use/misuse of psychiatric drugs or a general decay of morals. That is the greatest threat, our future.
RodionRomanovitch · 56-60, M
[@573308,TheeOriginalEXLover] Of course they should be held accountable , as should those who enable their access to weaponry.
RodionRomanovitch · 56-60, M
[@348129,3Dogmatic] This kid was an orphan wasn't he ? it's funny how you never hear of kids driving SUV's into crowds though. Guns are the problem here and it's your total inability to confront that fact that ensures that this carnage is repeated , and repeated. No other country in the world experiences , or would put up with , what you condone by your inaction. Would you still be saying the same thing if one of your children was a victim ?
It seems like you want to blame the unit in which they are causing the harm, not the person. He had been expelled, teachers need more freedom.

People like you are the biggest threat to America.
MissPriscillaPrim · 70-79, T
[@11267,TheProphet] I don't think you're that stupid... but the speed at which you accused someone else of the exact sort of bigotry your previous comment showed is breathtaking.
TheProphet · M
[@268346,MissPriscillaPrim] So now I'm a bigot? Are liberals so thin skinned they need to be protected from the truth?
MissPriscillaPrim · 70-79, T
[@11267,TheProphet] "The biggest threat to America" is what you called someone who exercised our American right to criticize the Dear Leader. Your accusation shows not only bigotry, but Pyongyang cult-think too, and I'm stating this fact calmly, without hate or anger.
Those are on my list too, along with Pence leading the racist religious right, who would have a system of Christian Sharia Law in place, if so allowed.
Ignorant Americans.

Sadly the number is increasing.

Their fascination with violence and race is horrible.
hlpflwthat · M
[@330935,Underconstruction] Ouch! Too accurate.
RodionRomanovitch · 56-60, M
The fact that Republicans in Congress are now actively involved in a conspiracy to cover up Trump's crimes.

I feel the same about you.
JessieB · 26-30, F
[@352419,5thApprentice] 🙄
GeniUs · 56-60, M
[@653862,JessieB] It's an opinion, he's allowed that.
[@352419,5thApprentice] Based upon what ?
You got one correct; Lindsey Graham.
You got one group correct; all supremacists.
You are blaming Trump's presidency and administration, when you should have been yelling all this BULL SHITTT about oDUMPER's presidency. There was more foul play with obama over TRUMP. Shut up get over it, HE's our PRESIDENT.
I'm so sorry for being so truthful, I'm just sick and tired of the BS complaining for having more money, less terrorists in our country - the man ran his campaign, promises on security on the boarder and the Wall: now, everyone hates him.
WalksWith · 51-55, F
Nailed it! I would also include the christian hypocrites.
Northwest · M
What I don't have problems with:

- Republican party. I am not fond of some Republicans, but the Republican party itself is part of our political fabric. I fear single party rule. In fact, I believe we should have more political parties and the Presidency should be selected by an Electoral College, or a 2-stage process, like they do in France.

- Russian Government. The Russian propaganda machine, is doing exactly what we did to them, for more than 70 years, even less than what we did to them. The blame is with the US public that blindly follows propaganda.

To your list, I would add:

- Extreme organized religion, that uses its 501c status to impose its "moral" values on the rest of us.
Tittieman · 61-69, M
You really need to wake up & look at the world through your own eyes & not the eyes that CNBC & CNN tell you to see it through
hlpflwthat · M
[@1636,Tittieman] Yes - thank goodness for well-informed lonely old married truck drivers like yourself.

JessieB · 26-30, F
[@501695,hlpflwthat] 😂
Tittieman · 61-69, M
I'm apparently more informed then you! At least I see it from both sides & make up own mind instead of letting some one sided newscaster do it for me or believe everything I hear because they said so on TV or because that's what mommy & daddy say I should believe.
unknownpoetx · 36-40, M
the NSA, CIA and FBI say and have reports to prove it without any doubt whatsoever that the greatest threat to usa security is by far the white supremacists militias.
JessieB · 26-30, F
[@1059,unknownpoetx] Thank you for actually answering my question.
hlpflwthat · M
C'mon Jessie - you only got 2 people to blame you so far. You can do better than that. :)
hlpflwthat · M
[@501695,hlpflwthat] Anddd the redneck twat has already blocked me. Thanks Obama.
hlpflwthat · M
Andddd the genius formerly known as 'tittieman' has blocked me as well. Literally gazillions of name possibilities and this Einstein chose tittieman. How can he be lonely?
WalksWith · 51-55, F
[@501695,hlpflwthat] ooooohhh, this 'tittieman' person must have me blocked too...but with a name like that that's a good thing, IMO!
As in all countries: lack of social cohesion.
Tracos · 51-55, M
the american fetish of violence
JessieB · 26-30, F
[@614270,soughtafterness] Get fucked.
Peekaboo20 · 22-25, F
An ongoing practice of lying to the people- supposedly for their own good.

Reluctance to listen to the world; the fallacy America is best and thus exempt.

Too much emphasis on nationalism, possession of arms and wealth, etcetera.
NaturalBeautyQueen · 36-40, F
You just about said it
Said what??
NaturalBeautyQueen · 36-40, F
[@573308,TheeOriginalEXLover] what the op said.

Self serving people.
Trump is one.
Clinton H, is one.
Bush & Bush are there.
Clinton W is one.
Almost all people who pursue a political career are self serving which is ironic as I'm sure their job is specifically to serve the people.
JimboSaturn · 51-55, M
American feudalism and the increasing shift of power from democracy for it's citizens to the special interest groups, corporations and the uber rich like Trump and the people and interest groups he protects.
GunSmoke9 · 56-60, M
A dishonest media. Those that attack free speech. Schools that push the progressive agenda, while shutting out other viewpoints.
BadShrimp · 36-40, M
The lack of unity among Americans. What a sad bunch.
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
Popcorn time. 🤣
What's Pocorn?
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
[@573308,TheeOriginalEXLover] popcorn. Thanks for the sub-edit.
I'm glad you took me as funny.
