Why are you more afraid of a few screwballs than the government?

Do you not comprehend that this country fought for independence because the people who immigrated here were fed up with a tyrannical government? You get y0ur panties in a wad because some nut bag shoots up a school and demand something be done. Your only ideas are easily proved to be nothing more than feel good but ineffective means to prevent anything.

People like this cruz asshat are walking the streets and posting their crap on the internet because they have rights. They have the right to say what they want to say and they have a right to appear odd. The only alternative is to throw the constitution away and give the government the almighty power to start arresting everyone who says something someone doesn't like or acts in a manner someone doesn't like. And who is this person who will get to decide what words or behaviours cross the line? Are you willing to let someone else decide what words you're not allowed to say or how you are allowed to act. Suppose you get someone in that position who has no sense of humour and you can't even act silly.

You should have learned by now that freedom comes with a price It isn't free, never has been, never will be. But the beauty of that freedom is that no one is holding you hostage here. You're free to go live somewhere else. somewhere where they don't have the right to own a gun. Somewhere where they don't have a right to speak their mind without fear of arrest because you offended someone with your big bad words. I won't bother moving out of the way because when the rubber meets the road I don't see any one of you leaving.
