Is Thereasa May finished?

Rumours mount of an impending Conservative Party leadership bid.

A few months ago, the Government were forced by the EU to concede a soft Brexit deal by extension of the Irish border question. Details here:

The hard-liners in the party won't stand for this, as I predicted at the time. There is no way of reconciling the contradictions and Brexit itself is a contradiction.

May will last through Brexit because history books will forever mention the PM that during Brexit. Nobody else wants to have their name on that page. I think May is regretting it too.

@rhouse I thought it possible until a week ago but the vultures are circling.

The hard-right ideologues cannot accept the compromise (or er... realistic) version of Brexit.

I agree but I am not sure anyone else is willing to be the PM in the history books during Brexit. @Burnley123

@rhouse It depends.

Boris doesn't care because he just wants power. Tally-ho, f**k the country.

Jacob Reece-Mogg actually does believe that Brexit will turn Britain into a magical Ayn Rand island but with additional pixies and unicorns.

These are the two front-runners.

Agreed but I don't think they are willing to put their name on the blame line when Brexit fails. It was a bad vote and the people have turned against it. It is a no win situation.
