@AngelofFail The schumer shutdown is the fault of the dems, no question. tjey at enot refusing to vote for the Cr bill because they don't agree with it, because they do agree with it. They are trying to hold the country hostage because they want part of the immigration reform to be included. and there is a very good reason the repubs are not having that. the fact that every time the de3ms have promised to vote on approving funds for real border security and the wall ( oh yes, it's been approved at least twice in the past) but the dems get amnesty and then break their word on the funding for border security. There's an old saying, fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. The dems can go fuck themselves, they are not going to win this one. When even the nyt is critical of them you know they've lost.

If he insists on holding the country hostage for very long McConnell just might do what the dumdums have done and change the rules, pass the CR with 51 votes and tell schumer to fuck off. And then start passing a lot of other bills without the dumdums.
