Do you believe FDR or JFK could get a nomination given the state of the Democratic Party today? I grew up in a Democrat household and just have to say

@Quizzical What do the times have to do with the shift in ideology. I know this answer, Im just curious what others think.Its about votes and control. Not about the good of the country.

@Peterbilt1955 Well, that's the whole point... The ideology changed over time. What worked then may not work now, nor may the same people be chosen to stands for the Presidency.

There was a lot more trust for government back then too.

@FelixLegion True... Although that CAN be taken too far, McCarthy for example was a nutcase seeing threats in the smallest of things.

@Quizzical Well..I can agree on the trust. So...why do we send the same politicians back to Washington. ?

I agree..but its time for the obstructionists on both sides of the aisle to hit the road.

Wel...the people spoke when Trump got elected..lets just hope they dont lose their voice. Work for what's good for the country. Not their political party.
