@TheProphet Well, trickle down is just hoping that businesses decide to reduce their profit margin voluntarily. Why would the suddenly pay their employees more if they don't really have to?

@Xuan12 They won't and shouldn't. Starting level jobs are just that.

@TheProphet So if what's the point of the trickle down idea then?

@Xuan12 It creates more jobs.

@TheProphet If the company chooses to expand. Some small and midsize ones might, but the major ones would have anyway if they intended too. Additionally, we're at high employment right now. We probably won't see that number go up much more anyway. Diminishing returns. With the economy doing well, one would think it would be time for Uncle Sam to finally start chipping away at that debt, but now the deficit is bigger instead.

@Xuan12 Unemployment is still high. Many people who gave up looking have not returned. The deficit and National Debt are rising and that isn't a good thing because the Economy is not growing fast enough.

@Xuan12 neither trickle down nor raising minimum wages exorbitantly works! They are both dead ends! One only rewards the rich and one only rewards the poor.
