Vanity Fair: get lost Mrs Clinton

The suggested resolutions, in order:

It’s time to start working on your sequel to your book, “What Happened”: “What the Hell Happened.”

Get someone on your tech staff to disable autofill on your iPhone so that typing in “F” doesn’t become “Form Exploratory Committee for 2020.”

You know how on Anderson Cooper you were telling him about alternate-nostril breathing? You seemed really adept. You should try teaching a class.

Take more photos in the woods. How else you are going to meet unsuspecting hikers?

Take up a new hobby in the New Year: Volunteer work, knitting, improv comedy – literally anything that will keep you from running again.

Put away your James Comey voodoo doll. We all know you think James Comey cost you the election, and maybe he might have, but so did a handful of other things. It’s a year later and time to move on.

Maybe it's time for Hillary Clinton to take up a new hobby in 2018 pic.twitter.com/sbE7

Not to worry, President Trump is all over it. His first tweet this morning, was about the #1 issue in the nation, and worldwide, VF's Editor's apology for the inappropriateness of one of the Hillary jabs.

He's all upset about it.

I saw the VF video. It's meant to be an SNL style jab, and while I laughed at most of it, I cringed at the suggestion that she take up "knitting". Comedic intent notwithstanding, does "knitting" belong in anything you may say about the first woman to run for President in the USA?

Good point. Cross stitching for example has more cache’ better suited to a former First Lady. @Northwest

@jackjjackson Or she could be a legal consultant, after all she's got a law degree from Yale.

Is her ticket current? @Northwest

@jackjjackson Her Arkansas bar license expired in 2002. She would need to take a simple course to get it re-instated. For her, it would be easier than picking up knitting, not that there's anything wrong with knitting, but to suggest that knitting is a woman's natural choice is highly sexist, and that's not PC speaking. Women, worldwide, and the US specifically, have had enough of this shit.

The mystery about this whole thing is thst VF swings to the left, while the “humor” may not have been the best it was an attempt at himor not a barbed attack. Simply not well thought out. To me this is a case of the beltway types taking themselves way too seriously (of course the argument could be made that they always take themselves too seriously).

It’s commnly accepted thst Mrs C is out to pasture from politics and for that matter public life and relevance and that the Dems are doing a review of the WJC legacy and not in a favorable way. The Dems are starting to trash WJC (unfairly if you ask me) to make the “new” Dem party look better. @Northwest

@jackjjackson The disagreement here, is not that the lady does not protest too much, or that SNL or VF shouldn't be doing a piece to remind her that the person she should be blaming first, and foremost, is herself, but that no one should think that it's humor to tell a woman as accomplished as she us to pick up knitting. And the moron who delivered the knitting part, a woman herself, should get a fucking clue, unless she wants people to tell her what she should be doing, or to pick up knitting, and quit trying to be funny.

I wonder if there is some perception similarity beteeen Mrs C and Eleanor Roosevelt. Both history didn’t care for, both with womanizing spouses, perhaps both even misunderstood. Does the suggestion that Laura Bush focus on pie making offend you? The irony is that what Mrs C thought of as “her own kind” has turned on her. To infer that Mrs C’s ability to contribute to society is now limited to knitting in pretty insulting especially when not do I g from thr opposition. @Northwest

@jackjjackson I believe FDR had a girlfriend, and Eleanor also had one, so they had an understanding. Bill Clinton is a philandering, sexual predator and a douchebag extraordinaire.
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
You don’t think WJC had Mrs C’s approval tacit or actual? I’ll refrain from snarky Janet Reno comments. @Northwest

@jackjjackson You can't blame HRC for WJC being a pig. I do blame her for staying with him and believe that she accepted what he was doing, like many women. Relationships are very complex.

In Eleanor's case, she was bi sexual, and possibly a Lesbian, judging by the correspondence with her lover. It's a throwback to a time when homosexuals were getting married to maintain appearances, but led secret lives, if they had the means to do it.

That seems to be what history has decided. Definitely not Mrs C’s fault he is a pig @Northwest
