A nation has the right to declare any city it wishes in its territory to be its capital. Does anyone NOT know Jerusalem is the ancient capital of the Jewish people? Pres. Trump does and has done the right thing...AGAIN...and announced he has begin the process of relocating your embassy in Israel to Jerusalem.
The embassy of the great United States will now be in the TRUE capital of Israel, JERUSALEM, where it belongs. As for those of you who are Bible-believing Christians who still say they "hate Trump", read Genesis 12:1-3. Then consider THIS picture of the person whom he defeated ... smiling with the child-killer Arafat.
(Postscript. As a viewer abroad, I was long under the impression the anti-Trump people were REALLY stupid and not in possession of even simple facts. This posting proves I was right. Anti-Trump cretins, I will type this slowly so you can understand...
1)Jerusalem has been Israel's official capital since 1950. That is a fact.
2)Pres. Trump is not forcing HIS policies or AMERICAN policy on anyone only respecting the rights of a sovereign nation to decide where its capital shall be.
3)It was Pres. Truman, Eisenhower, Kennedy, Nixon, Carter, Reagan, Bush, Clinton, Bush and Obama who were IMPOSING AMERICAN FOREIGN POLICY by not respecting another nation's right to choose its capital.
4)So it is Pres. Trump who is finally showing RESPECT to the self-determination of another country, UNLIKE TEN PREVIOUS American presidents. You got that now?

So what you're saying is that Trump has the right to declare which city is the capital of a nation? Wouldnt that be like Kim Jong Un getting to declare that Palm Beach is the capital of the USA because that's where the "Winter White House" is located?

@questionWeaver No, I havent been following this closely because it's the same thing Trump always does. He believes that he has the right to dictate his will to other people that he has no right or control over. Just because he chooses where the US Embassy is located at does _not_ decide the capital of any country, even one as torn up and fractured as Israel.
This is just Trump once again making the American people look like fools to the world as he "plays president."

@Abrienda Ok, and the US Embassy _has_ to be there why? We currently have an embassy in place but Trump doesnt like where it's at. So, at the cost of the taxpayers he's going to build a new one that does the same thing but only in a different location.
We have an embassy. It does its intended job. There is _zero_ reason to move it. Trump isnt paying for it so lets go ahead and move it! 🙄
@Reboot I see the English language is a mystery to you so I will type this SLOWLY ... if Mexico declares the capital of the United States is San Antonio, specifically the ALAMO (because...in case you didn't know...national embassies are located in the host nation's capital)that's fine with you? Or the United States says the capital of France is Lyon? If the French say their capital is PARIS (and you know that it is, yes?) should the United States refuse to accept that and keep its embassy in Lyon? Are you in favor of the United States being so ARROGANT that it decides where a nation's capital is, the very thing you accuse Pres. Trump of doing?

@Reboot You heard (because you obviously cannot read) what the Prime Minister of Israel said about Pres. Trump finally moving the US embassy to Israel's legal capital of Jerusalem? Or do you know more about the situation there than Israel's PM?
