What is your opinion on officially claiming Jerusalem as the capital of Israel?

Personally, even as a hard line Zionist, I don't see the point in unnecessarily angering people and inflaming an already volatile situation. We know that Jerusalem is the capital of Israel, isn't that enough?

Why do you call yourself a Zionist?

I don't see the point of calling it an Israeli capital while it's inhabited by both nationalities.

Maybe if the two merge in the future.

@Miram I am by simple definition, a Zionist. I believe in the autonomy and preservation of Israel and her people. I wish that Israel extended from the west coast of Africa to the border of India, personally.
