Does talking up a big game and failing to do anything say, "Lets build some nuclear tipped ICBMs?"

I mean the US have been super comfortable pillaging South America for decades but seem to ignore actual threats like Iran, Pakistan, North Korea and arguably Russia. I do admit the US talks up a big game when dealing with these countries, obviously though: "Actions speaks louder than words," and sometimes inaction says even more.

The US has no serious external threats, in all honesty. Our military is pretty unequaled. Its most serious threats are internal, that it could be mismanaged to such an extent that it could collapse and then nations that would otherwise not be threats then become threats. This is why information warfare has become the new avenue of attack.

@UndeadPrivateer Can't argue with that.
