Your $202 would be better spent in the economy. We did it Obama's way and it sucked.

@Sicarium If That’s how it works, give me $404. And I’ll really boost the economy. 😊

@Sicarium yea the economy was really in shambles when Obama left office huh... 🙄 let's make a huge change in the tax code and see how many problems we can cause great idea.

@SimplyTracie Go earn $404 and you've got a deal. That extra $202 comes from an taxpayer, money they're not spending in the economy. So try again.

@Sicarium I have a job and I pay taxes but an estimated $10 more in my paycheck isn’t going to change my lifestyle. And neither is $4200/annually for a person earning $175/annually.
Sicarium · 46-50, M
@SimplyTracie How much do you pay in taxes? And yes, $4200 annually is a good chunk of change. Just ask anyone who's ever gotten a refund check or pays for daycare. The entire point is you want that money going into the economy, getting spent. Doesn't matter how much the person makes, this isn't about greed or jealousy.
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@Sicarium Nobody is talking about greed or jealousy.
Somebody is spending a lot of taxpayer money. I know that.
If Uncle Sam gave me $200 I doubt I’d spend it. I’d put it in the bank, the bank will loan it to you and then you can spend it. Does that help?

@SimplyTracie Not saying you're specifically being greedy or jealous. But it's one of the motivations when people say things like "they don't deserve a tax break because they make too much."
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@Sicarium I say give them all a tax break if it’ll do the American people good. You too.
