Does Donald Trump have far-right tendencies?

I keep getting accused of breaking Godwin's law but I can only call it as I see it. He recently re-tweeted stuff by Britain First, which is a far-right organisation. Trump is not Hitler, he just has common ground with some people who secretly like Hitler. That is OK though, right?

I consider myself a far-right nationalist, very conservative socially, hate Hitler, nazism and racism,and am tired beyond words of the left intoxicating with the false equivalence far-right=fascism/nazism.

Unfortunately there are still some fooled by this false statement, but more and more people are waking up and realising that words are just that, words, and nazis belong only to the past

@Cierzo Would you say that you're a Nativist, then?
Cierzo · M
@RemovedUsername8862 I must check what a Nativist is before answering
Cierzo · M
@RemovedUsername8862 If you mean this

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nativism_(politics)

The answer is Yes
RemovedUsername8862 · 26-30, M
@Cierzo I did, in fact.

Interesting! I'm of a basically unrepresented political orientation as well, and it's always fun meeting someone of a similarly obscure viewset, even if I disagree with it.

@Cierzo So you don't consider Richard Spencer to be a Nazi or Britain first to be racist?
Cierzo · M
@RemovedUsername8862 There are many unrepresented political orientations. Actually, it looks like today many people feel compelled to choose either side A or side B
Cierzo · M
@Burnley123 Britain first are anti-Muslim, but Muslims are not a race, so I don't consider them racist.

Richard Spencer is basically a clown. Yes, he likes to raise his arm and say sieg heil, he may have wet dreams where he is in the surrounded by muscled comrades in the Hitlerjugend in the 1930, but is he political relevant at all? There are people who would like the Holy Roman Empire back too.

@Cierzo Britain First have members who are ex EDL and spread anti Muslim conspiracy theories. Islam is not a race but has become a byword for one. One of my links has a video fromBritain First describing Birmingham as 'jihadi central.'

Richard Spencer is a clown but has a serious agenda. He is in favour of 'peaceful' repatriation of all non white Americans and he was one of the Charlottesville organisers.
Cierzo · M
@Burnley123 It would be the topic for a post of its own, but you cannot accuse someone of being racist for opposing Islam. It cannot be used as a byword for a race since it has to do with beliefs and morals, not with race.

Spencer may have an agenda, but who is he? A guy who has a blog, gives lectures and is paid too much attention.He is not a politician, he does not hold power.

@Cierzo Bot yet and neither to Britain first but its the intention of their political movements. So when someone says that all Muslims are Jihadists, its because of secular of Christian values and is not racial resentment?
Cierzo · M
@Burnley123 None of them, just a blunt generalisation
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@Cierzo Completely disagree
Cierzo · M
@Burnley123 What is it according to you then?
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
Yep many leftists such as peeeezzzzaaaaa and Burnsie have been duped. Leftists have a rich history of being willing fools. @Cierzo
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@Cierzo Saying that all Muslims are jihadists is a racist dog whistle in my view. I've said it and stand by it.

Your position seems to be that race plays no major part in politics. I disagree.
Cierzo · M
@Burnley123 My position is that the word 'race' is wrongly used in situations like this, that have to do with religion and morals, not race.

This inaccurate use has a purpose. Being called a racist gives a much worse image than being called anti-muslim. The same when you are called a nazi instead of far-right.
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
That’s why they do it. @Cierzo
