NY Times - President Trump Wows Asia

HANOI, Vietnam — For the last week on the road, President Trump had been measured, disciplined and studiously scripted as he picked his way through the geopolitical minefields of Asia.

President Trump is a statesman marshaling a worldwide coalition to confront a nuclear North Korea, and a populist leader working to right trade imbalances.

He's doing what no other president has been able to do.

Wonder if CNN I’ll pick up this NY Times story? @katielass

@jackjjackson Only if their narrative is how the NYT has been "bought off". lol

CNN is scrambling worrying about the antitrust fallout. @katielass

@jackjjackson Well, that's been happening for a lot longer than Trump has been president. The media's approval rating has been low for years, but I'm aware they like to pretend it's his fault. It's their own fault for being corrupt. People can tell when they're not getting the whole story and they know when they're not getting any of the story. That is precisely why they all hate Fox so much, Fox reports the stories they pretend don't exist.

I’m not on board with Fox I kinda think Fox is the mirror image of CNN, MSNBC, etc. There are less opiated ways to get factual news. Using Fox as a source in my opinion tends to diminish the credibility of the person citing Fox. Hannity is a huckster. Just sayin. Saying that doesn’t affect my support of the big picture goals of the President. However this President is able to connect directly with the people. No matter what the left says about the tweets they are listening and do hear directly what he says as well as the left media version of what he says. I think most people that aren’t on the left think the tweeting is a bit much and some of it is over the top. With that being said because the President has the ability to circumvent the media the tweeting is better than no tweeting. @katielass

@jackjjackson Well, fox is the most trustworthy one on TV. I saw what they did during the campaign and I see the barely hidden laughs now in some of their faces---they were pulling for jeb bush (gawd)---but at least they aren't acting like a network who's had a complete mental breakdown
