How is CNN a problem with the AT&T Time Warner antitrust case?

Why is the news ABOUT CNN? Aren’t REAL news organizations supposed to REPORT news?

There are several "broadcasting" assets as part of the deal. Why make it about CNN only? Could it be because the President and Bannon have a beef with CNN?

CNN made it about itself yesterday. In fact the antitrust department said the deal had many problems and CNN is one of them. There is talk of CNN being spin off to make the deal happen. @Northwest

@jackjjackson The Financial Times, says it's only about Turner Broadcasting, and nothing else.

Turner Broadcasting = CNN, TBS, TNT, and Cartoon Network. I realize I may be going on a limb here, but I'm confident that this is not about the Cartoon Network, or old westerns.

One never knows there may be politically incorrect messaging embedded in spaghetti westerns and cartoon 🤔. The information I mentioned was from a The Hill reporter interview I heard on POTUS yesterday. POTUS is certainly not a republican biased source. @Northwest

As long as nothing screws up Charles Barkely’s TNT gig I’m a happy camper. @Northwest

@jackjjackson and that would be accurate, as in the deal is getting held up, because the Justice Department wants AT&T to ditch Turner Broadcasting, which technically is more than CNN.

I am pointing out the obvious, which is that Duffy Duck is not a threat to the first amendment.

Of course. @Northwest
