I think it's a huge plus for him. His bone spurs are finally under control, and he was able to make it Vietnam.

We also know that the trade deficit with China is not his fault:
I don’t blame China, I blame the incompetence of past Admins for allowing China to take advantage of the U.S. on trade leading up to a point where the U.S. is losing $100's of billions. How can you blame China for taking advantage of people that had no clue? I would've done same!
So, it's all good 👌

I believe him when he says he's been taking advantage of people that had no clue.

I’ll mark you down in the “success” column then. 😉 @Northwest
@jackjjackson There's common sense inside NW fighting to come out. I just know it!

He is a smart well informed guy. We may not agree often but he is reasonable and informed unlike a lot of angry SW member. I have to give him credit. @puck61
@Northwest Trump put China on notice and continued to have the courage of his convictions. That's what matters. National Chinese television has aired a documentary on how it will destroy the United States ; referring to us as their "number one enemy" several times in the last few years. No one who is paying attention is being fooled by the smiles and red carpets. It's just that Jenping has met his match, and so has Putin and Kim.
