Need more proof that the anti Trump crew are crazy?

Across the country these fools were screaming at the heavens on the anniversary of Trump winning the election. Insane or plain stupid?

I didn't see or hear any howling. What I did see was people reflecting on how the first year has gone and how things have changed in this country. The same thing happens with every president, looking back at their first year and what has happened, and looking ahead at the future for what can be expected. Of course, Republicans don't do self-reflection. They are tuned into Fox/Hannity/Limbaugh/Breitbart/InfoWars etc. to find out what they are supposed to be thinking, who they are supposed to loathe, and who they are supposed to fear. It saves time to have someone else doing the work for them.
@windinhishair Very true.

@windinhishair I guess CNN and MSNBC didn't show it. I don't need Fox, or talk radio to do my thinking for me. Where do you get your talking points from? Do you even watch Fox, or listen to conservative radio?
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@GunSmoke9 I don't watch Fox much, but I do view their website to see what is happening in the alternative universe.
I can always count on something surprising, like supporting a white supremacist driver who plows into a crowd and kills a woman, because they say someone scared him with a stick. I've tried listening to conservative radio, but I can't go more than two or three minutes until the first easily verifiable lie is told.

I don't have talking points--just observations from a lifetime of living in red states and common sense.

What is it about Republicans and anecdotes anyway? Suppose that a couple of people did scream and howl at the skies? Suppose it was 20? What difference does that make? What kind of news is that? Why not focus on what is real--look at what is happening in the country, why it is happening, and what to expect moving forward. Look at November 4 and what it means. Is it a trend? Why or why not? If you watched Hannity, he literally spent five seconds on the election, then launched into a solid hour of diatribe as usual.

@windinhishair Sounds like a real open mind to me. So you listen to talk radio for a few minutes. Wow. Me I watch the liberal media, and listen to liberal radio.
I was pointing out the double standard. If republicans screamed at the heavens, the media, late [ comedy] shows would have a field day for weeks.

@GunSmoke9 Yes, when you hear someone like Rush saying in all seriousness that it snowed today, which proves that global warming is a hoax, there is no sense listening any further. He's already proven that his bloviating isn't based on fact. I don't have to listen more to such drivel.
GunSmoke9 · 56-60, M
@windinhishair Sounds like Rush might be over your head. Rush uses sarcasm all the time. Try Mark Levin, he attacks republicans almost as much as democrats.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@GunSmoke9 Rush has been the biggest asshole in radio for over 25 years. One of the first times I listened to him, he was making fun of and imitating a caller who was clearly from abroad and had some difficulty with the English language. What kind of purported human being does that? It says much about you that you enjoy assholes. I've heard Mark Levin--can't stand the man. He's like Trump--a sorry representative of humanity.
GunSmoke9 · 56-60, M
@windinhishair I've been listening to Rush for many years. At times he can be coarse, most times he's being sarcastic, or his attempt at humor. A lot of times the caller enjoyed it. I focus on his message, not some sarcastic, or humorous remark.
Willing to bet that you haven't listened to Mark Levin for more than 5 minutes. If you did you would know things he disagrees with Trump, and nothing like him. He talks about the constitution, the danger of a central government. Corruption, the media. Democrats and republicans come under his attack. But listen to what you feel safe with.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@GunSmoke9 No wonder you think the way you do, listening to Rush for many years. There is no way you could do that and even understand what reality is any more.

I pay attention to anything and everything to get a balanced perspective. Fox news in particular is interesting for their alternative universe. But that doesn't mean I have to spend hours or day listening to drivel from people like Rush and Levin or Hannity once I've heard enough to establish that most of what comes out of their mouths are deliberate lies and falsehoods. That would be a complete waste of time, because it is only going to be more of the same.
