Thanks to all the media coverage the President has another term in the bag if he wants it

Any idea how many people will do the exact opposite of what the media recommends simply because the media is doing the recommending? @Pherick

@jackjjackson Uneducated ones I guess? All media has a bias, and you need to be able to hear a story, do your own research and then make your own decisions.

I agree. From what I learned beginning with Mrs Clinton carpetbagging to NY to snag a totally unlosagle Senate going forward is that Mrs Clinton cares about Mrs Clinton. PERIOD. That is not even going back to the Arkansas and White alleged abuses committed by Mrs Clinton. When it comes to pandering despite her best efforts Mrs Clinton was unable to overcome a superior candidate in President Obama who at best found Mrs Clinton “likable enough”

The last year has seen the D’s hamper themselves to the point where even their former panderees are disgusted with them. Your smarmy superior smartest person in the room is a prime example of why the D’s as presently organized are losers despite the opposition doing everything it can to make itself the party out of power. Like it or not the ability of the President to connect directly with the citizens and eliminate the media filter has caught the D’s and the media flat footed. The current level of ineptness matches the McGovern, Humphrey, Dukakis and Carter times however the difference is the D’s in their elitist conceit don’t think they need a new plan. @Pherick

@jackjjackson I won't even argue with you about Clinton. I think she was a politician first and foremost. While I don't see what she did as different from any other politician, atleast in that she may have done it better.

I think the Democratic party needs alot of work, but I don't want to any of us to lower ourselves, this is me being snotty and elitist, this is me wanting more for our country than what trump currently seems to be able to give us.

I really appreciate your intellectual integrity recgsrding Mrs Clinton. Since you have the soapbox market cornered. What is your platform thst you view is best for thr United States?@Pherick

@jackjjackson LOL I don't think I have any cornered, but my thoughts on a platform for the US are pretty simple.

I want us to treat people with all the rights, thoughtfulness, and charity they deserve. I love to rip big money out of government and actually elect people that are beholden to their people rather than big donors.

I want us to be progressive as we move forward, not radical, nothing radical lasts. Have some radical ideas, sure, but use pragmatism to put them into motion.

An example of that is Obamacare. It was pretty radical to implement it, it has issues. It was a bold move, and it needed to be put in play, see what spots of needed oil, then pull back and fix it. We never did that, the right dug in and tried to repeal it over and over, instead of using pragmatism. Its here now, and I think it sucks, what can I do to fix it. Nope. It was more politically convenient to try and let it fail and then claim Obamacare was unusable.

That kind of thing drives me nuts. It was broke, it had problems, so lets FIX them. When did the US become a nation of "This needs fixing, but eh, its not what makes my party look good for fuck it". That goes for both sides!
