How bad a candidate do you have to be?

So according to the former interim leader of the democtrats Hillary had full access to all the democrats money for a year before the campaign started then had all the media give Trump 2 billion dollars worth of press to get him nominated as republican candidate then trash his every move once he had the nomination - yet Hillary lost the election in a landslide. Now that has to be some kind of record for bad candidate.

She was a bad candidate, but I don't see how she gave trump free press coverage.

@windinhishair The press went into full Trump coverage for the entire campaign. They covered every brain cramp he had and every tweet he put out and every speech he gave and every rally he had etc etc etc. Much of that coverage was negative but as one wise politician said "say what you will about me just spell my name right". While I don't think Hillary and her campaign told the press to cover it anyone who thinks the NYT etc is not democrat in its articles and comments is delusional.

Of course Trump got lots of coverage. Why wouldn't the media cover a man so clearly unfit to lead?
