I hate Trump as much as any self-respecting Democrat, but it could be worse. At least Bernie's not President.

@CoxswainOtter Progress as in, "Progressives." It refers to Progressives rather than the actual word itself. That was the meaning i was attempting to portray.

@CoxswainOtter You are right. Everybody thinks they are progressing in their own way.
However, vast progress has indeed been made for the Progressive cause not just in Progressives mind, but in law.

Gay marriage, medicare, welfare, global warming, bureaus for food and drugs, environmental conservation, minimum wage laws, anti-child labor laws, ect.

All of these are Progressive ideals that have been implemented to some degree. These Progressive ideals are slow to be implemented, but are indeed implemented.

As far as Progressiveness goes, it is advancing, slowly, but surely.
For me this is progress, not just in my mind, but in law.

Please explain the second part of your comment further because I do not follow what you are alluding to.

This is how Democracy works if you didn't know already. If enough of your party get elected, your polices get passed into law. If you disagree with this system them you disagree with every form of government too.
