'Independence' Is An Illusion, & 'Nations' Are Now Obsolete [Re-Uploaded]

I hate to hijack your video but Bitcoin proves the nation state is obsolete.
Trade is global. Bitcoin is a global currency. It replaces the functions of government to print money. Nationhood is increasingly becoming obsolete. It’s time for postnational philosophy. Flags are bits of colored cloth that governments use first to shrinkwrap people’s brains and then as ceremonial shrouds to bury the dead.

It’s time the world thinks beyond nationhood.

Back when the E:U or Common Market was formed, it was about binning trade tariffs; working out deals and co-operation between neighbours.

THEN many thought the 'future' was going to be trade by 'blocs'.
But, since Communism crumbled (which nobody saw coming) we organised into trade blocs with the theory being it would reduce protectionism of ones own assets.
Which i suppose in ONE sense it did.
But then nobody thought Margaret Thatcher would SELL OFF the ENTIRE countries assets leaving Britain NOTHING TO TRADE IN !!!

This is why Britain is the 5th largest financial contributor to the E:U. Otherwise there'd be NO POINT in being involved at all !

So folk in the UK are saying....Our government keeps cutting our pensions and our benefits because they were too stupid to plan for the day when the 'Baby boomers' retired. And didn't realize so many would live so much longer thanks to better healthcare and medication etc......and this is our fault ?

So people said ENOUGH !
Stop throwing money at the Germany/France collective ! (who, incidently, still HAVE their nationalized industries !)
Bring that money home and let's look after our own !

Protectionism AFTER the horse has bolted, i grant you !
But it has to be done !

Why do you think we rejected the Euro ?
At the time of the Euro's creation do you have any idea just how stuffed the Italian economy was ?
Something like 1100 Lira to the pound at the time. So, how did they even qualify to join ?
And since the creation of the 'Eurozone' there have been that many 'enquiries' as to certain countries 'truth telling' re: the state of their economies prior to joining......
this is an economic time bomb just waiting......
