How is this possible?

How is it possible that a grown man,with the mentality of a 16 year old was chosen to lead a powerful Country like America?
How is it possible he is still in the position with such power and clearly single handed put the whole world in a state of fear?
He doesn't belong in the big boys playground!
Something needs to be done!
Before we get to a point of no return!
We are headed for the ultimate disaster!

A lot of factors were at play.

Rural America tired of feeling as though Washington hasn't heard their voices.

A culture so immersed and distracted by scandal and celebrity that a failed TV personality could be taken seriously.

Gerrymandering that allowed voting districts to be redrawn to represent powerful wealth and white voices disproportionately.

A distrust of a politician seen as too interested in image than substance.

The prospect of a very biased country having to elect a woman after eight years of an African-American leader.

Apathy for the voting process and what it means at every stage on every level.

Ignorance of facts and reality for the sake of imaginary "maverick-ness."
