@Xuan12 Indeed. As soon as Israel becomes militarily active with Iran, I think things will be in full swing. Then we have this nasty potentiality between the US and NK, China, Russia, and Iran. It's enough to lose a little sleep over if you pay too much attention.

@puck61 Yeah, while legitimate counter-terrorism may be part of the war, it's also a great setting for countries to use to fight proxy wars with each other. Middle Eastern nations are all over that idea, but they're not the only ones. Just quietly (or openly as some do) funnel resources to your favored "militia" or whatever, and let the lead fly.

@LILY61 My daughter says that's an awesome series. I don't even have television anymore...It's good for me. I have to search out my news instead of having it blasted in my brain 24-7!

@Xuan12 I like to hear from people who pay attention and obviously give thought to these matters, but I also admire those who completely shut it out, like my daughter. She refuses to hear or talk about anything when it comes to current events. I don't know how she does it! It's amazing! She's up to her eyeballs in the 'American dream' making 6 figures a year, and probably couldn't tell you who Putin is!
