hi bunny61
There will never be a WW3. Human beings are annoying at times but not criminally insane - as a rule.
Best wishes
:)
@sogdianrock We were insane enough to have WWI & WWII, but you think another is impossible? didn't we all think 9/11 would be impossible until it happened? Didn't we sane folk think that America was too sane to put Trump in office? And remember that we and other countries are crazy enough to have civil wars and nothing is crazier than that!

Everything you say its true but your question was WW3. Plainly WW1 and 2 were terrible events culminating in use if nuclear weapons but the use of them now would result in mutually assured destruction and nobody even Trump can do that without being criminally insane at which point he would be removed from office. It really is a simple as that thankfully.

@LILY61 Denial is a huge coping mechanism for people today. Deny deny deny until you cannot possibly anymore.

@LILY61 He is blind to reality I am guessing of course it can happen and probably will. In WWII people blinded themselves with the thought that Germany was too civilized to do the things that those who escaped the madness were reporting they were doing. The world arena is set up much as it was before WWII happened and those who refuse to pay heed to history often repeat that history. Only the blind say otherwise.

hi justmerae
According to a Secret Service source, Nixon once lost his temper during a conversation about Cambodia. "He just got pissed," the agent quoted eyewitnesses as saying. "They were half in the tank, sitting around the pool drinking. And Nixon got on the phone and said: 'Bomb the shit out of them!'"
"If the president had his way," Kissinger growled to aides more than once, "there would be a nuclear war each week!" This may not have been an idle jest. The CIA's top Vietnam specialist, George Carver, reportedly said that in 1969, when the North Koreans shot down a US spy plane, "Nixon became incensed and ordered a tactical nuclear strike... The Joint Chiefs were alerted and asked to recommend targets, but Kissinger got on the phone to them. They agreed not to do anything until Nixon sobered up in the morning."

@sogdianrock i truly wish that i could live in the Candy land world you live in. he is insane and so is KIM. people haven't changed since those world wars....at all. and now they are getting rid of monuments? those are there to remind us of the insanity of civil war. they aren't anti black. but since people still think we had that war because of slavery, they think everything civil war piece of memorabilia must be burned. We should have memorials of it every where...reminding us constantly, every day of what we did to destroy land and property while burning, raping and pillaging through OUR OWN COUNTRY. "Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it."
