Why do we hear so much shit about trump when we didn't hear it about obama?

Republicans like to argue that the media only pays attention to his screw ups and not the good work he's doing.
Well...Obama was doing good work too (or at least work that some people thought was good and others didn't, same as trump) but he wasn't in the news every other day for saying or doing something stupid and\or immature and\or possibly criminal.

So is it a conspiracy by the fake news media or is trump maybe not exactly presidential material?
Or do you go a step further and say that his lack of basic social skills and ignorance of world events is a refreshing change from more measured heads of state like obama?

Several reasons.

- The media's first bias is that it is pro-status quo, and Trump is a massive disruption to the status quo.

- Trump is rude, and says things any other President would have a massive scandal for saying. So the media goes nuts over little things he does because it's just so unusual. Obama was super smooth and low-scandal. Very media-friendly.

- Trump just does stuff that's scandal-worthy. He threatens to blow up countries while his chief of staff facepalms, he brags about his dick, he says coded racist stuff, he lies so openly it's breathtaking, he personally attacks the media and tries to limit their access.

The media created Trump because they couldn't stop reporting on every little thing he did, but they're also his worst enemy because he wouldn't get positive coverage if he was saving kittens from a burning building. Obama was status quo, charismatic, good with the media, and a smooth-talker. He got less coverage than Trump did, but the coverage was more neutral or positive unless from a conservative company.
