What will happen? most of Florida is less than 12 feet above sea level and a 12 foot storm surge is coming?

Much of Florida has an elevation of less than 12 feet (3.7 m), including many populated areas such as Miami which are located on the coast. Miami and other parts of south Florida are the most vulnerable regions in the world to rising sea levels associated with climate change.

Just looking at the map of the state it already seems like one big pocked-marked place full of sinkhole lakes...I wouldn't be surprised if this just doesn't add a lot more of them.

@cherokeepatti the sinkhole are due to limestone in the northern parts if the state. They are not present where I live
