Are you shocked that a conservative site used a photo from 2015 to falsely claim that Black Lives Matter blocked Hurricane Harvey rescue efforts?

@Karmalives They did it because you were white ? Or because they were criminals ? That's what I'm saying. I've been robbed by criminals who happened to be black, too. They were not racist in the least.

@bijouxbroussard There are black people that hate white people, hispanic people, asian people, etc. Some don't think that's racism (the racism = prejudice+power folks), but that's quibbling about the terms. Outside of academic settings, I'm pretty comfortable saying that yes, there are racist black people, just as there are racist people of all races.

I'm just not sure what that has to do with the current topic of discussion.

@QuixoticSoul I'm not going to say there are no racist black people, obviously that would be incorrect. But to say we're more racist than people who have had the legal power to lynch whole families without going to jail--or, hey---people who will disown their children for becoming involved with another race---I think that's overstating things.
