Is Trump's pardon of Arpaoi a presidential endorsement of racism and contempt of the law and the constitution ?

“With his pardon of Arpaio, Trump has chosen lawlessness over justice, division over unity, hurt over healing,” ACLU Deputy Legal Director Cecillia Wang said in a statement. “Once again, the president has acted in support of illegal, failed immigration enforcement practices that target people of color and have been struck down by the courts. His pardon of Arpaio is a presidential endorsement of racism.”

Of course it is. Trump does not believe in the rule of law. Certainly not with respect to himself, and through this action, he's shown that he does not respect the legal process for others. the pardon violated DOJ guidelines for pardons, and pushed Arpaio ahead of 20,000 other people who have applied for presidential pardons, which are almost always given once someone has served their sentence. Arpaio hadn't even been sentenced yet for his crime. Trump is sending another message to his white supremacist friends and supporters that racism will not only be tolerated, it will be celebrated during his rule.

@SW-User Quite possibly. Or Benedict Arnold.
