Are robots people?

Hypothetically, what if artificial intelligence existed? Robots with complex emotions, thoughts and ways of relating to the world? Robots that are intelligent, sentient begins who's apparent humanity is not observably different from that of human beings?

Is that robot person?

@MetalGreymon Because having a trait of a human doesn't make you a human. Some animals have traits also seen in humans but they're not humans. Argument over.
