why some ameritards deny global warming?

because in civilized societies where people have proper evidence science based education no one doubts about reality

Because that theory is mostly supported by leftists who lie about nearly everything. It just makes it suspicious.
unknownpoetx · 36-40, M
@InvaderNice it's not a theory.
AnonymousJSS · 22-25, F
@InvaderNice Its not a theory.
UndeadPrivateer · 31-35, M
@InvaderNice Hahahaha, theory. It's not a theory, they're hard numbers. Theory would be how you interpret those numbers. The temperature is warming no matter how you look at it.
InvaderNice · 26-30, M
Then what is it?
unknownpoetx · 36-40, M
and there's many an overwhelming majority of right wingers that obviously don't deny reality and accept global warming so your claim about the left makes no sense whatsoever.
AnonymousJSS · 22-25, F
@InvaderNice You should take some biology classes and learn what Co2 is, where it comes from, what protons are, and what all that has to do with global warming. It's LOGIC.
QuixoticSoul · 41-45, M
@AnonymousJSS it is a theory. But in science a theory is as good as it gets. That is the end stage, there is nowhere else to go. The colloquialism "it's just a theory" betrays a misunderstanding of the terms involved.
UndeadPrivateer · 31-35, M
@QuixoticSoul Yes and no. Hard data is hard data, theory is how you interpret the data.
unknownpoetx · 36-40, M
no it's not a theory. global warming it's not a theory in any way. it's reality. it's evidence. it's like the sky being blue it's like 1+1=2.
AnonymousJSS · 22-25, F
@QuixoticSoul I suggest you do the same as him. Take biology classes, or maybe just look around and realize what really is going on.
InvaderNice · 26-30, M
I knew everyone was going to jump at me for using the word theory. Predictable. So it's not a theory. Thanks.

Anyway, people doubt it because it's mostly supported by leftists who lie about nearly everything.
unknownpoetx · 36-40, M
again, it's supported by right wingers. that argument is invalid
InvaderNice · 26-30, M
Can you guys slow down? I'm getting a notification every time I start typing.
unknownpoetx · 36-40, M
now you know how earth feels
QuixoticSoul · 41-45, M
@InvaderNice The jab at leftists is silly, not like conservatives are beacons of truth by any means. Honestly on balance for general billshittery - I'd say the right is well ahead at the moment.

But more to the point, left, right, none of that even matters. The theory is supported by basically the entire worldwide community of climate scientists.theyre actually the only ones who count, because the rest of us lack the expertise to properly evaluate the material.
unknownpoetx · 36-40, M
not sure if you know but not all scientists are leftists. there's tons of conservative scientists.
InvaderNice · 26-30, M
@unknownpoetx Making a dumb anaology doesn't excuse your misconduct.
UndeadPrivateer · 31-35, M
@InvaderNice "Lie about nearly everything" is quite a blanket statement. There are scientists on both sides of the political spectrum that work in the climate science field. I am not a leftist and you don't see me denying it.

The jumping down your throat about using the term "theory" is because it implies a fundamental misunderstanding of the fundamental foundation of science. The issue of global climate change isn't a lack of data, the data makes it very obvious that there is some very serious climate change going on and that the average global temperatures are indeed increasing. All that takes is very simple and straightforward math to average the global temperatures.

What those increasing temperatures mean is up for debate, whether you're in the Al Gore nonsensical camp of THE WORLD'S GON' COOK US ALL TO DEATH(which makes very little sense, since the Earth has been far hotter than this in the past) or you actually look at the Earth's past climate cycles and consider it to be the lead-up to an ice age is where theory starts to come in.
QuixoticSoul · 41-45, M
@AnonymousJSS You need to review the what a scientific theory is. It's a pretty big deal.

Anthropogenic climate change is a theory - and an extraordinarily well supported one at this point. It represents the current scientific consensusx
InvaderNice · 26-30, M
Y'all gonna let me speak now?
UndeadPrivateer · 31-35, M
@InvaderNice I didn't know any of us were physically stopping you.
InvaderNice · 26-30, M
@UndeadPrivateer I didn't say you were physically stopping me. I said that every time I start typing, I get another notification from you.

Are you gonna let me speak now?
AnonymousJSS · 22-25, F
@QuixoticSoul Theory is how you interpret data. There are statistics and facts about global warming today. In science there are many predictions and theories; I suggest you do a bit of research.

Anthropogenic climate change is a theory I somewhat believe in. Co2 does come from many natural resources, but I think humans are one of the main reasons it's getting worse. Modern technology and other human activities are evidence.
AnonymousJSS · 22-25, F
@UndeadPrivateer 😂😂😂
UndeadPrivateer · 31-35, M
@InvaderNice You can still type while getting notifications. I do it all the time. The world isn't gonna stop spinning for you.
