What will victory in Afghanistan look like , and when (if ever) is that likely to occur ?

I am so exhausted from winning, I'm ready for a day of an R&R with some Afghani puppies :-) (yes, I know how to spell).

We the President just did, is declare war on Afghanistan. We're no longer interested in protecting Afghan's population. We're going to kill friend and for to defeat ISIS and the Taliban.

We've already won, twice. They keep coming back. Insanity is repeating the same thing, under the same set of circumstances, and expecting a different outcome.

President Obama promised to complete our withdrawal from Afghanistan in 2014. We still have some troops there, so that promised was not fulfilled. We will now throw another 4K troops on top of what we already have, and win a few battles against an enemy, that's now hiding in Barcelona, Nice, London, Florida, California....

@LvChris The rules of engagement have now been changed to allow US forces to go after Taliban not posing a direct threat. Cue the collateral damage , cue the body bags ..... and on and on it goes.
