Should executions be televised?

In North Korea, when kids get to be 12 or 13, they are forced to attend public executions. Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Iran and Somalia also execute publicly.

The U.S. is #5 on the countries that execute the most.

Given the laws surrounding the death penalty here, should executions be public or aired on television?

Have no problem watching scum peadophiles die and I am no sicko, would not be able to harm another child

@Nyloncapes OK. But pedophiles aren't executed unless they killed a child.

They just never change, they just abuse children for years, not many peadophiles do kill

@Nyloncapes I did some work in drama therapy with pedophiles. They do change. The desire is usually always there but they can learn to control it. And that desire is there because almost all of them were molested when they were kids.

Ynotisay, yes you do seem to find that, most of them were molested as kids, but I honestly think, they are so manipulative, they really very good at saying what you want to hear in the sessions

@Nyloncapes Yep. Manipulation is a big part of most any criminal's life. What I was involved with was getting them to regress to the mindset they would have when they chose to act out. Fantasy was a big part of their lives so it wasn't too hard to get them to that place. At that point it wasn't about them manipulating me. You could see it in their eyes. I worked with some pretty bad people but they're the ones who stood out the most. It was like a light switch. Pretty chilling.
