Should executions be televised?

In North Korea, when kids get to be 12 or 13, they are forced to attend public executions. Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Iran and Somalia also execute publicly.

The U.S. is #5 on the countries that execute the most.

Given the laws surrounding the death penalty here, should executions be public or aired on television?

No they shouldn't. I fully support the death penalty but I also have compassion for the condemned family

@Harley4Life Good take. It's easy to forget the innocent family members.
@Harley4Life That is a very good point.
