He technically didn't fire him. He forced him to quit. By treating him like scum and allowing Scaramucci to gaslight him in such a horrible manner.
It's his MO to treat people that work for him like scum so they'll quit.
To be fair I think Reince was already looking for an exit strategy. He was trying to leave gracefully- but there is nothing graceful surrounding trump or his administration
