I Write Poetry

I am one to live by science
Not by the words said or written
I am one to live by the facts
And the facts say,
That every seven to ten years
Your body replaces all of its cells
And oh how I count down the days
To the end of that seven years
Where I can breathe freely and say
That your hands have not touched my skin
