"Thinking of You"

I just thought I would let you know
That I am thinking about you tonight
I will grab my pillow
The same way I drape myself
Over your chest at night
But my pillow is not nearly as warm
As your body next to mine
And I just realized
That I think I am crazy for you
Not like a silly high school crush
But that sweet kind of affection
Like the way love sticks to you
After melting
I can see the way
Your eyes gleam at me
Like they always do
When I am wrapped in your arms
But tonight I will
Stare blankly at the neon
Alarm clock numbers
Until my eyes burn and close
Finally surrendering to the sleep
They so desperately need
Even though you are no where
To be found
Under my sheets
With your feet entangled in mine
Please come home soon
