Familiar Visitor
Decades passed - their eyes met again
As if their youth was rekindled by a glimpse of yesterday
She, whose clothed in sparkling ruby
While he, enveloped in muted onyx
Clock ticking, cameras snapping
Hearts beating in unison,
Both echoing tempo, never bothered
Nor made them blink away
No words were spoken
But the quietness of their eyes
Said otherwise
Telling all stories, different yet so familiar
Time stood still lest time run out
Her vines of hands cover his
Rain came — a euphoric sorrow.
She whispered, “You were never just another visitor; you were my life.”
